The biggest expansion pack to date includes seven new multiplayer maps, 13 new achievements totaling 325 points and a new chapter for the campaign mode, "Road to Ruin."
The seven new maps in Gears of War 2: Dark Corners "are:
* Allfathers Garden: Discover the sacred grounds of the founders of the Coalition in this explosive map, where the most powerful weapons promise quick and dramatic action .
* Memorial: Located near the Eternal Flame, which honors fallen soldiers on the battlefield.
* Sanctuary: The that once was a peaceful area for reflection, has been reduced to rubble. With a large arsenal of weapons at your disposal, you'll fight your way through narrow paths and dangerous corners.
* War Machine: Located in a former train station, players will handle long-range weapons like the mulcher and the Boomshot to make progress in the battle and repel the fire from the upper platforms.
* Highway: The action is immersed in the Hollow of the Locust, a map full of complex passages. Keep your group together, divide the enemy or you can not survive in this map.
* Way Station: In a limbo between death and being "processed" are fallen soldiers of the Coalition. Walk slowly and be patient since it is better to sacrifice the most powerful weapons by infiltration as you advance through a field full of hidden grenades.
* Nowhere: Located in the middle of an old destination for travelers, the stage is now desolate and lifeless. Destroy the enemies with the sniper rifle and make your way in this fortified stage.
Also, if you missed the previous expansions, the pack "Gears of War 2: All Fronts Collection" is a very good option. Also available now from Xbox LIVE, "All Fronts Collection" includes all the map packs released to date ("Flashback", "Fuel" and "Snowblind") plus the new expansion, "Dark Corners." In total, "All Fronts Collection" contains 19 multiplayer maps on which to fight against the Locust with your friends on the horde so divided by teams or competitive mode.
